Trans Am totaled.......350 Engine & T-5 5 speed for sale...

I haven't been to the board in a while....some of you may remember my car:

1986 Pontiac Trans Am
I had it painted silver by Earl Scheib & I had someone post pics of it on the Non Tech board a few months back. Here is what I am selling:

350 Engine (4 barrel) $300
T-5 5 speed $300
Engine & Trans together $500
3.23 Posi Rear complete (Drum Brakes) $150
Doors $50 each
4th Gen Leather Graphite Seats (Trans Am) $300
Tail Lights $50

If someone wants the entire car whole: $800

I live in Ohio. Plese send email if interested in any parts.

I will not ship anything. Buyer will take any parts off himself. Prices negotiable.

I will check my email Saturday, if not tomorrow.

Later guys....glad to see the board back up......I haven't posted in months.

The miles of the engine awre unknown...the car was a factory 305. The 350 that is in it is from 1980-1986 (GM5.7LG-3) is stamped on the rear of the block....I figure that it is a 4 bolt truck engine..just an educated guess. The engine does the typical Chevy startup smoke deal, then it is fine. It does not knock, tick, etc.....it does use at least a quart of oil every 800-1000 miles.

The seats are graphite leather out of a 4th gen TA. The driver seat has some wear on the bolster (Where you slide across it when getting in & out.) The passenger seat has a cigarette burn the size of a pinky fingernail. The rears are perfect. They have no rips or tears....

If nobody buys them, I may put them in my Z28...but if someone gives me $300, they can have them.

I don't know if you guys remember, but there used to be a few pics of the car on the NONTECH board...probably in later June. There was a picture of the interior. I may still have it saved...I can send it via email attachment....but I cannot get it put on this board myself.

All parts that I listed are in good condition.....I am not trying to peddle junk.

The car is at my parents house in Norwich Ohio. I live in Zanesville Ohio (10 minutes away.)

One other thing, if someone were to come & pull the engine, I have a large cherry picker & a two car clean garage that they can use to pull the engine or trans.

I am at work right now, but I will check my email tomorrow afternoon.

I also have an ad placed in the classified section of this board, which has my phone number: (740) 450-0948. Do not call after 10 pm EST......as I will undoubtedly be drunk by then.

Later,
Roy
