My friends camaro has some isssues. The other night is just died on him and wouldn't run again. It would start, but only with some pursuasion. His mechanic said that he wasn't getting any fuel pressure so he replaced the fuel pump. It is now stalling when under acceleration and has a low rough idle at stop lights.

PLEASE HELP!!

 

Fuel filter?? Injectors?

 

stalling under acceleration is usaually the fuel filter. How long have you had the car? have you ever changed it? It couldnt hurt anywayz.

Could be quite a few things... there's always the v6 message board to post under.

When was the last time the car had a major tuneup? Unless the major tuneup's taken care of, there's too many possibilities to think of. The $120 major tuneup (or $120 minor if a garage does it) will take those common problems out, and leave you with a better idea of the problem.

Off hand if the car had a great tuneup done recently, I'd say timing- but something tells me the car isn't tuned up.
