ECM and PROM

Does anyone know if I can put a 350 PROM in my 305 ECM and get a better result out of my 355? Or do I need a new ECM also? I would like to just get a custom PROM burned but I cant afford it right now with college, so please dont suggest that.

I assume an '89 from your sig, and a TPI, so if you have a 355 instead of a 305, and swap out to an '89 350 chip, I see no problem, and probably a bit better engine management.

Oops! My bad! I'm not familiar w/ TBI, did they make TBI 350's in '89? So long as the chip year is the same I see no prob. Some years do cross, but that info is beyond me, try popping over to the Prom board, either Trax or Pablo (more likely) will be able to nail your prob. without breaking a sweat.
