I know that they require SA's. The question is do they come with SA's in stock.

Yes the Vortec truck motors use SA rockers.

But, when you buy the heads the rockers are not included.

Kind of pointless....

Throw the stock rockers in the trash where they belong like any other stock rubber ones, and get something that reliably connects the valves to the cam.

Im going with the ZZ4 cam and LT4 springs, the stock rockers shouldn’t have a problem with a mild cam like the ZZ4. Correct me if im wrong please. I don’t wanna spend $300 on the LT4 1.6 SA rockers and the springs won't handle the .544 lift on the exhaust side

Stock rockers can't handle stock cams. They are garbage.

Their "theoretical" ratoi is 1.5. Rarely do you ever find one that measures more than 1.45, even sitting still. Most are around 1.42-1.43, and some are as low as 1.38. And that's just while they're sitting still!!! Put some force on tehm, and trhey bend.

I wish I could post a movie of watching them operate under a strobe light.... you can literally watch them bend.
