need held fast!!
Well, im finally letting the 89 rs go :-(. I have college coming up and what not but i have the op. to get a 89 iroc z so im gonan take it (better gas and such). Well ehres the prob. The guy coiming to buy my car lives about 1 hour away. I recently had my air dam ripped off do to a driveway and now it will run hot. even though i have the 160 thermo and a fan switch it still runs about 220 in a 20 minute drive and continuely goes up. My ? is, has anyone made a homemade AIR DAM for there car. I was htinking about gong to ace hardware and buying some sheet metal cutting it a decent size and drilling holes and mounting it. WOuld this work both the mounting and functional? I dont have time to order one and not one of the 3 junkyards has one! Please HELP!!!!!!!!!!
also, how hard is it to take off this peice. i havent really checked yet but from the looks it seems to only be one bolt in the center? I know the camaro ones are only one piece (i hope) so any suggestions on this. He only has to make it home and then hes gonna have it fixed. So any help guys is super appreciated:hail: :hail:

You can't find an airdam at any junkyards? In my area the junk yards SUCK, but I could still get airdams by the dozens. I have a spare off my 84 parts car you could have for cheap but it seems like you need the part right now and not next week.
