How can you visually tell 1pc vs 2 pc real seal...

How can you visually tell 1pc vs 2 pc real seal...
with an engine that is bolted in the car. I need to know what I have in mine. Its not the stock engine.
Shouldn't you be able to tell by the location of the oil dipstick? Driver's side means two piece, while pass. side means one piece. Or maybe that is change made some other time, mid seventies sounds familiar for some reason. Sorry if i'm wrong.

No, the driver and passenger side dipstick wont tell you.
Check where the oil pan meets up to the block in the back, if there is an aluminum housing there just above the pan, then its one piece. You should be able to see it without taking the inspection cover off, but you may have to take it off in which case it will be easy to tell which it is.

Well This should be easy, I dont have an inspection cover on it! Anyone have pics of a 1 pc and 2 pc so I can be absolutley sure?

Thanks everyone! Madmax that picture was perfect. I have that so I guess mine is a 1 pc which is perfect. That means the T56 flywheel I have should work.
