car feels slower with foot to the floor!!!!
hey i just wanna try and find the answer to this here before i go out and waste money on new parts that won't fix the problem. i got a 85 z28 LG4 and when i floor it its bogs down then picks up agian does anyone know what it could be?

Maybe the carb needs adjustment.

My bone stock '79 Vette does the same thing. If all 4 barrels open up, it bogs for a split second and then picks up.

Both of you:

The secondary air valve is too loose. Tighten it 1/8 turn at a time until it clears up.
