I am going to convert my single cooling fan set up to the dual fan set up that was given to me on this site. Do I need to get two fans, or are they the same size so I can keep
my existing fan and only have to buy one new one?
Or, are the dual fans smaller....bob

The dual fans are 12" dia, and the single is 16". You will need to get the 2 12" fans, brackets, upper and lower shrouds.
