On my 92 rs (305 tbi) it turns over then starts to ignite, but will die. After 5 min or so it will barely start, and backfire when giving gas. Eventually it will run smoothly. While driving if i accelerate hard it will stutter and "pop". I noticed the the driver side fuel injector intermitently sprays upon starting, but will smooth out also. A couple months ago the fuel pump and fuel pump relay were replaced. Need help figuring out this dillema. I think that it may be timing, or Tbi problems. All help would be appreciated.

This definitely sounds like a timing problem to me. However, I have never dealt with the TBI system(I'm a TPI guy) so I have no idea about the intermittent driver side injector but it still sounds like timing.
