1st, when i go to start my car, when i 1st turn the key, before it even makes the engine crank, it makes a twitching sound that seems to be comming from behind the control stick that turns on the head lights, or somewhere behind the speedo. Im thinking my ignition?
2nd, when im going down the road a high pitched squelling is comming from my left front tire, and when i apply the brakes even slightly it will stop for a few seconds. Any ideas? i know its something to do with brakes. But problem number 1 is what im not to sure about.

The squealing is probably your front pads need replacing. There is a little piece of metal (wear indicator) that rubs the rotor when they are getting low. Don't forget to get the rotors turned.

The noise in the dash...does it come on before you turn it to start??

Does the buzzer work??

Does it go away after you start it??

I've actually seen a key buzzer that was no good make a weird, fast sound. Could be called a "twitching" sound.

Lay under the dash and look for the noise.

It comes right as i turn it, and when the engine starts to turn it stops.

 

In would stick my head up under the dash while its doing it.

If it is coming from the dash area you should be able to pinpoint it.
