No start but lots of lites ...HELP!
I am having an electrical problem right now and can't start the car. The car lites up but does not turn over. I have replaced the starter and ignition switch. I have found a dead wire leading from the neutral safety switch which is yellow. It has no power and I think this is the problem. How does the safety switch get power? Do you have any experience with this problem?

The safety switch doesn't "get power". What happens is, when the key is turned to Start, power is supplied by the ignition switch to the yellow wire; it passes through the safety switch if it's in the "safe" postion, to the purple wire; the purple wire goes to the starter solenoid.
