I just took apart my IAC this afternoon and had a question. When i took out the motor part the pintle just fell out, I stuck it back in the motor and it went all the way in and out without any resistance. Should I just go out and buy a new one, or just clean it out? Thanks for any info.

 

go out and buy a new one....well this will go in and out without resistence nicely ....a switch like that won't function right now that its been played with like that...trust me
you may not notice it right away....but you will...and it will effect your performance big time...i was in the same boat you were in and i figure...i'd try to just run it cause it seemed fine
