Higher stall and daily driving ??

Hey guys i just got my new iroc this week and i love it. besides the fact that it needs a few things and def. tires. WEll i jsut bought a huge tranny cooler for it because the tranny right now is running of the original factory one. it has a 2400-2600 stall. I was just wondering what are some common things a higher stall will do. I daily drive it and it makes a whine noise when driving in lower gears is this normal. Also when its in overdrive and i brake it is fine, but when in drive and braking i get a wierd pull and thump from the back. jsut wondering if u could all shed some light on this for me. thanks

Well, I've had a 2500 stall and now have a 3000 stall in my car and both haven't been a problem on the street. No weird noises or thumping. People must wonder why my car makes all kinds of noise but doesn't move fast off the line lol. The whine might just be a gear whine, two transmissions I've had made a slight whine in 1st at low speed. Still, the whine could be a number of things. The thump might even be the transmission mount so check that out.
