Ok I checked my codes, Im getting *I think* a code 13 *1 long - pause 3 short* and code 22 *2 short pause 2 short*....This is oxegen sensor/TPS and TPS. Both of these seem to point toward a faulty TPS. I have a 91 305 TBI Camaro RS, I think has a non adjustable TPS. Have been having bad problems with idling. Doesn't want to stay alive without revvin gas for a bit while I first start it up and has bad idle in any gear or park when stopped. Stalled a few times while stopped especially at startup. DOes this sound like TPS? If so can I just buy a new part and put it in, how hard is it and will I mess anything up? LoL I am not too experienced. Could be oxegen sensor dead also I guess? ANy tips?

 

I posted about a code 22 a while ago and havent gotten a single reply. I am sure it is the throttle posistion sensor, and have new one ordered and should have it on friday. I will see if that makes a diference. the problems you are having sound similar to mine.

 

Well...update. I replaced the TPS today with a new one, same problem. It hasnt stalled yet and seems a bit more controlled, but idle still very sporatic. Any other guesses? What would cause this? What can I clean or test or anything? Any help appreciated.
