need some help...

in the first pic i have 4 holes that arent goin anywhere. The 2 holes furthest left behind the H20 pump are open, the bottom hole on that piece went to the evap can, but i dont know what went on the hole above. Also the other 2 holes near the radiator tube dont have anything on them. So, the three tubes that i dont know about have been like that since i bought the car.

The second pic just shows some plug hangin, just wonderin if anyone know what it did.

The third pic shows a small tube of some sort that comes from a piece next to the distributor that has a plug on it, another toube the same size comes out of it right to the right of it and goes to a different part, i was just wondering where this was supposed to go.

The car has ran fine since i had it and no major problems yet. Thanks to anyone who replies to this post.

In the first pic, the thing that is to the pass side of the water outlet with the blue parts, is the canister control thermal vacuum switch. It controls when the gasoline vapors get purged from the charcoal canister. Obviously it's not doing that any more.

The thing on top of the water outlet beside that temp gauge line is the EFE thermal vacuum switch. It's supposed to control the heat riser. Again, not doing much.

The plug that's hanging has to do with the A/C.

I can't even guess what's in the third pic, it's so blurry. But from your description it sounds like that's the EGR solenoid, EGR valve, and the vacuum lines that connect them.

Looks like somebody sodomized the car rather brutally, basically just came in there with a pair of dykes and a chain saw, and started yanking and cutting, and didn't clean up behind themselves. I'm sorry to see that.

thanks alot, i was just wondering if any of these would have a negative effect if they arent connected, or if i can just unscrew the pieces and replace them with a plug to clean it up a bit.
