PCV Valves
Is it ok to have 2 PCV valves(1 per valve cover) instead of 1 PCV valve and the other with a breather. My engine is the LO3.

Dual PCV's !!!
That isn't the way it's designed to work. The intake vaccum draws air through the crankcase from the breather, and then through the PCV, and into the intake. The breather is sort of an air intake for the whole system.

I figured as much but the breather I had was a small round K&N pushin one but it smoked and leaked oil over the valve covers. I got rid of the stock air cleaner assembly and the oil breather was history so I put the K&N one in and had the smoke problems. Will my new setup hurt anything till I can get paid and get it done right.

There's supposed to be some sort of baffle under the hole where the breather goes in to keep the oil from splashing into the breather.
If you put the breather into the fill hole it will throw oil.
I don't think it would hurt anything, short-term to use the way you have it.

If you have a known-good functional PCV valve in one cover (check to make sure there's strong vacuum at the PCV valve with the engine running) and you're still getting oil out of the breather I would ask 2 questions:
1. Do your valve covers have the stock-type oil separator in them? Without this "baffle" system you'll get oil out of the breather no matter what you do. Running 2 PCV valves might keep oil off the vlave cover but you'll be a "smoker" out the tailpipe for sure.
2. Is your engine worn out? Lots of blow by? If it's really ragged out it'll overtake the PCV system and, again, nothing is going to help besides an engine rebuild.
On a decent-condition engine with the stock-type oil separators in the valve covers you should get almost no oil on the valve covers. The stock system works VERY well.
