Do you any of you guys buy oil or oil filters on line? None of the part stores around me carry ACDelco filters anymore.. I don't know what happend, but even after I asked them about it they had no idea either and said they couldn't order any... WTF? So I'm thinking about just trying to find a place I can buy online from, even if i have to order them like 30 at a time i don't care..

 

i never have. i stop at an advanced auto parts on my 100 mile comute from work and buy all they have for my cars and truck, usually 4 is the most they have at one time.

 

AC Delco doesn't supply to places that sell other brands than their own. The filters cost like $8 from GM. Ordering online may be a good idea if you can find a good deal.

 

but the place i went to (pep boys) had other ACDelco filters, just not the size i needed..

 

AC Delco is pullin out of all retail stores becuz there wanting people who want the acdelco filters to buy them either directly from acdelco or right from a dealership. i know this becuz at pepboys they have stopped shippment and told us when were out , were out basiclly.

if that's true ac is going to be selling a lot less oil filters. doesn't even begin to make sense, not that it couldn't be true. anyone remember "new coke" and how long that lasted. auto zone doesn't have many left and i bought out the 2 advance auto parts i drive past on the way from work.
