Position of cam bearings?

Position of cam bearings?
I have installation of cam bearings in progress. I forgot to check positions of oil holes before knocking old bearings out. Does anybody know, how should be oil holes of cam bearings positioned in block? Where goes bearing with two oli holes and how it should be positioned?
I have 1988 350 block and Federal Mogul 1235M bearings.

the bearings are numbered as to their location, several bearings will fit in several journals. if they're not numbered then there should be a referance card to match a PN or other referance number aginst a location in the block. i put the oil holes between 4-5 o'clock with the mains down and looking from the front. i ithnk the bearing with 2 oil holes is #1.

OK, i'll check numbers more closely.
But what do you think, where should be second oil hole located? If first is 5 o'clock, then second may be 1 o'clock or 9 o'clock. BTW, block has 3 oil holes by the bearing #5. Bearing with 2 holes may be #5 too, IMHO.

Where the block has a groove behind the bearing, the bearing should be installed with the oil hole at the 2 o'clock position when viewed from the front for normal clockwise camshaft rotation. This will introduce oil into the clearance space outside of the loaded area and allow shaft rotation to build an oil film ahead of the load.
What do you think about that? I'm confused...

Max, I've tried it a number of different ways. The vast majority of times the oil hole is put pointing stright down (6 o'clock) by most rebuilders and the factory. And it works just peachy. I've also tried them at about 3 o'clock and....... it made not a damn bit of difference. Worked just fine, too.
The front bearing should have 2 holes. If that's the case with yours then one of the holes goes straight down and the other will be at about 2 o'clock.
Don't stress over all this too much. I did, and it wasn't worth the stress in the end.

only reason i position the oil feed hole at 4 to 5 o clock is i heard or read that the oil pushes the cam and in that position it maintains the best or most oil around the cam, at 6 o'clock it pushes the oil away from the cam bearing interface at 12 o'clock. all in all i'd suspect it really doesn't matter much.

Ensure the No. 1 (front) camshaft bearing holes are an equal distance from the 6 o'clock position. The No. 2 through 4 inner bearing holes must be positioned at the 5 o'clock position towards the left side (drivers) of the engine, even with the bottom of the cylinder bore. The No. 5 bearing oil holes must be positioned at 12 o'clock.

Are you heard about that? This is almost same, what you told me, only difference is, that #5 bearings oil hole should be straight up (12 o'clock), why? ...don't know...
