Klunking noise

I have 1986 Z28 Camaro with 1" Lowering springs, and when I go over a large bumps or roughly paved surfaced I hear a loud klunking sound from my front drivers side wheel well.

I pulled the front driver's side tire to see if anything looked out of place, everything looked fine, no signs of metal to metal contact. I bought the car used and don't know the age of the shocks, though when I had the front suspension apart they still seemed pretty good. Any ideas?

P.S. I posted this in the suspension forum and got no responses.

Sway bar endlinks and Ball joint are brand new, but they both checked out okay.
