red /oarnge spark plug color

The plugs on my 86 lb9 all have an oarngish/red tint to the electrode. A little darker than light rust. They are ac delco CR43TS plugs. What would cause that color electrode? I am not losing any coolant whatsoever.

An orange/red color on the plug electrode generally means a fuel additive was used. Are you running an octane booster?
