Engine Runs Then Dies...

Okay so here's the deal. I've got an 86 Camaro Sport Coupe with a 305 LG4 from an 82 Camaro.

The thing runs for like a minute and a half then starts
to bog down and it dies.

I had the alt and the ignition module checked and they
are fine. I bought a new cap n' rotor and coil. I don't know
what else it could be?

Any ideas/help would be much appreciated.

If she runs for a few minutes when you start it up, but then slowly bogs down then dies.... this sounds like you're electric choke.

Make sure you're choke's electrical connection is hooked up, and getting plenty of current.

Also, make sure the choke is fully open when the engine is at normal operating temperature... otherwise, she'll stall, and won't start back up until she's cold again.
