No coes? Well, maybe. I'm just guessing, but you should at leat be seeing a '12' when you scan for error codes. The '12' actually means that teh ECM is not getting distributor reference pulses when the ignition is on. Normally, that is expected when scanning for codes, since the ignition is on but the engine is off. However, that can also mean that there was an interruption in distributor reference pulses when the engine was running. Sound familiar?

I'd check the distributor and EST wiring very closely. Umplug the connectors and inspect the terminals. Inspect the wiring for damage. See if the G forces of cornering can swing the wiring to a point of stress or possibly grounding. Check the distributor shaft for wear.

It sounds like something is killing your ignition pickup/reluctor pulses under loads.

I just made a post becuz my LB9 is doing the same thing! Got a new MSD coil on there yesterday, getting ready to put 8.5 MSD wires, but the ones on there now are new. Haven't done the cap and rotor yet, but have accel pieces to put on, plugs are in decent shape. Mine buts out like that under turning, as well as semi-hard braking. Does that sound like the EST or dist. to you guys? Its a TPI car so could there be something else?
