Weather Stripping

Hi

In the UK, it has been raining rather a lot recently and my boot is now collecting water.

How can I improve the weather stripping ? Can anybody explain to me what the weather stripping should be like on a firebird, or any pictures of what it should look like ?

Thanks

Geoff

Metro molded parts sells hatch seals, they go around the seam on the body of th car. Make sure your hatch is aligned properly and the seal is pliable. They often compress on the bottom corners. A1 automotive sells the Metro seals on Ebay for about $30.
I suggest you use "hatch" or "trunk" on this message board, in the US we wear "boots" on our feet.

I think my hatch is not aligned properly, which may account for the water leaking.

Is it easy to re-align the hatch ?
