hey, were doing a decent power 350 rebuild, and Im wondering What heads to use.

Ive heard alot of Good about Vortechs, And from what I have seen, the Price sure is right. I hope to be topping 300 HP on a carbed motor, Looking to keep this thing driveable On the street, and Emissions is going to Keep the Cam within reason, So much more than 350bhp is out of reach.

Where is a Good place to get cast iron Vortechs, My local Chevy dealerquoted me 500 for bare casting EACH, wich i know is rediculous, I can get sportsman II's forless than that, Even trickFlow's.

Appriciate any Info I can get.

Have you considered Monicas? I've heard good things about those heads...

I think you're right to lean toward Vortec heads. Check prices at Scoggin Dickey parts center (the link at the top of the page).
