Vortech Heads!

im considering buying vortech heads but have a few ?'s. First, they will work with carbed engines right?. Second, i read the description fro them on racesearch.com and it said something about needing a new intake. is this true? the last thing is heat risers. it says they dont have them, do stock heads have them? finally will all the emissions equipment and exhaust maninfolds mounts directly to them? thanks for your help.

they are VorteC heads. You need a special intake and headers, as manifolds will not bolt up.

I have the stock rocker arms. Im going to a skyscraper roller cam over the winter as well as nitrous . I like the idle, sure its a bit lumpy for my dad, but it does wonders for scaring off ****stags and other shtheads. I think elevation is something like 600ft, but Im not sure.

Vortec,

I think you're a little closer to 685', but close enough.
