Need info on 350 TBI heads....

I can pick up a set for dirt cheap. I don't have the casting numbers or I would look it up myself, so I thought I'd ask.

They're off an 88 350TBI truck.

What are the chamber and valve sizes, and are they swirl ports?

theyre nothing great, I had a set and sold them for 40 bucks. They only made 210HP on the 350K motor trucks.

I don;t expect AFR levels of flow, but if they hav 64cc chambers, 1.94/1.50 valves, and no swirl ports, I got a use for them.

Jester,

If you pop out an intake valve, you'll be able to tell if it's a swirl-port design right away be the miniature "Evel Knievel" ramp on one side of the valve guide boss. Whip out your caliper and measure across the valve face for a quick diameter reading.

You can measure the valve face while it's installed, and you might even be able to see the swirl "ramp" from the intake port openings.

Sorry, no help on the chamber volume, but a truck probably had small valves and pretty large chambers, with small port volumes to keep the intake flow vlocity high.

You sure they're off a truck? I have a set too...183 or 193 #'s, don't recall...but they're 76cc with the vane in them.

Mine also have a squarish sparkplug boss protruding into the chamber.

I don't think they'd be much for HP application, even after trying to work them over.

Arg, nevermind. He left them in his dads shed, but now some untold months ago his dad moved them outside, they are rusted badly. Guss I'll never know now tho.
