homemade AFPR
i've heard people putting quarters in their FPR off of a TPI to make it adjustable...can anyone give me info? thanks!

It doesn't make it adjustable. It simply makes the fuel pressure rise by a specific amount. You need a way to move that quarter up and down for it to be adjustable, but the top cap doesn't have the strength to support a threaded screw.

thanks jim.....now i have another question for u....can i relocate the pressure regulator...cause i don't feel like pulling the plenum everytime i wanna mess with it...are there any tech files i can read of this procedure? i dont feel like spending $60 on a new one when can rip mine for $.25 or $.50...all depends on the amount of quarters i need

You can make your own by jb-welding (or actually welding) a nut to the top of your stock fpr and then putting a shim and a bolt through the nut you welded. someone wrote a article about making one i think. It takes maybe 30 minutes to do it right. I did it, and now I have an extra holley afpr sitting around.
It would cost a lot of money to re-locate your fpr and probably wouldn't be possible to do without custom machining.
Just make your own and buy a fuel pressure guage... then your set.
