ok you made me bust out my old Motor Trends. Looks like low 14s stock. So they should be mid 13s to mid 14s stock. These are the 275Hp 325TQ LT1s

later came the 285Hp dual cat ones,
305 HP ram air ones.
315 Hp Firehwaks
there was an LT4 SS(330hp?) that ran 13.2 stock
and so on

Thanks Tas. Were those numbers for the standards or the autos?

It didn't say. In the back of Motor trends they list all the specs and options but don't list the options on the car from which they got the numbers.

Ok. The reason I ask is because my car runs a 14.6 at the track and I beat a standard one twice on the street last night. The guy knew how to drive a stick good and it was a stock car. I thought he would be able to beat me pretty easy. I don't have posi so my tire spins forever too.

You'll win some and lose some. I've seen them run as high as 14.70's and some well into the 13's (probably modded somewhat). On the street you'll hang with most of them to 60 mph.

As has been said, some run better than others. My wife's 96T/A wRamAir (auto,3.23 gears) ran 13.9's at Houston Raceway in July in 95-100 degF. This is with here driving, and she hasn't totally gotten the launch down yet. At the time of the runs, only mods were Hotchkis suspension parts, air foil and K&N.

Should I be able to hang with a stck to 60 because mine is an auto. Usually cars start pulling away when they hit third. It felt nice to beat a new car though.

Hey Kevin, what does your '92 run at HRP. What does it look like because I go out there pretty often.

It's a black 92Z28 with chrome ss rims and Firhawk tires. has an SLP banner on the windshield. Wife's car is a white 96 Ram Air with SLP banner on windshield. We haven't been back to HRP since July when she had back surgery. The gang we are ususally with consists of several '99 & '00 Z28SS's and WS6 RamAirs, with an occasional Firehawk. They'll be there 11/17 if weather holds.

My last runs were in the July heat with a ecm that was pulling out between 15 & 20 degrees of retard, triggering codes 42, 43 & 52. TPS was only going to 3.9v @wot too. Managed a couple of 12.9's @ 107 on 1.914-1.934's Just finished changing out TPS, ecm, HEI module and AFPR, so I need to run it again. Unfortunately, HRP will be closing for the year soon, so I may have to get ready for February.
