I know you dont need to change trans fluid that often, and i highly doubt you need to change power steering and brake fluid that often. I think I'd start changing my own oil from now on, or atleast find a new place to go.

i'd say most people never do it with no bad results. i'd learn to change my own oil too. for the correct service intervals check your owners manual if you have one or a repair manual.

If you are just driving your car on the street for normal purposes you shouldn't need to flush the trans but once every 36000 to 72000 miles, depending upon which yr you have. The brake I do as a matter of course once a yr, since most people use DOT 3 fluid I would recommend it once a yr ONLY. changin your oil, well most of the books I've seen say 3000 miles.

More than likely what they define as a "flush" is simply changing the fluid they can get out. If they have gripped you for this service three times in nine months, and have told you that you need this done every time you change your oil, you have a case for fraud. I would talk to the owner/manager first, and if they maintain that this is the way it should be, show them your owners manual that says otherwise. Tell them if they refund your money for services performed that were not required, you won't call the better business bureau.

I would also call the corporate office, and let them know that these folks are giving firestone a bad name.....

Let 'em have it with both barrels!!!!
