My new engine
Heres my engine combo. You should see the torque curve on this baby!
3.484” stroke nodular iron crank
5.7 forged big beam rods with ARP bolts
Hypereutectic flat top pistons at 9.0:1 compression
8” harmonic balancer
Hydraulic flat tappet cam with .480” valve lift, 230° duration @ .050”, 286° advertised duration, ground on a 108° lobe center
76cc heads with 2.02”Int/1.600”Exh swirl polished stainless valves with undercut stems for better flow; 1.250” high performance valve springs set up to match cam
Double row timing chain set
High volume oil pump with welded big pick-up screen and steel drive shaft
Edelbrock Performer RPM Aluminum intake manifold
Chrome oil pan
Chrome valve covers
The Torque curve is almost flat on the dyno we checked it on. its pretty cool. So what do you think of the combo? Its pretty sound!
I know if would benefit from a better stall and new gears, but that'll have to come later!
cheers!
