Can bad valve seals make an engine hard to start?

Can bad valve seals make an engine hard to start?
My car is screwed up again and I just got it back yesterday. It's really pissing me off. I guess the MAP sensor was not the freakin' problem.

Not really no. not unless they leak enough oil to foul the plugs, but you can check that easily.
