Odometers

Anyone know how to roll up or down an odometer? I'm getting a new cluster and I want roll it up to my actual mileage on my old odometer. Any Help? the guage cluster will be out of the car for a bit...cars in storage.....HELP PLZ..THX

It's probably easier just to remove the odometer from the old cluster and put it in the new one.

If you get the instrument out, open it up carefully. The mechanism is pretty straightforward and easy to reset.

Whatever you do, make sure you set it exactly as your original. Don't get caught misrepresenting the mileage (or, kilometerage?). South of the border, you'll get free accomodations in the Graybar Hotel, meals included...
