Name that sound

Sometimes during turns my car makes a loud rumbling sound. Obviously this seems to point to the power steering, however the fluid level is good and there are no other signs that the pump is going bad. Another puzzling part of this is the sound seems to be comming from the passenger side no matter which way i am turning. If anyone has any ideas that would be great, thanks.

Wheel is strait and it doesn't pull. Had the back tires replaced not to long ago; the front tires will need to be replaced with in the next few mths. Could it be a tire issue?

Sounds like a wheel bearing to me. Does it do it both ways when your turn or just one way?? If it only does it when you trun right it is the left side, and if it does it when you turn left, then it is the right side. OK just re read your post. Both ways, most likely ned to do both sides then. HTH?
