Replacing Valve Seal?
Replacing Valve Seal?
Because of all the smoke that my car is blowing, I'm getting ready to replace my valve seal. The smoke is like bluish color it smells like unburned gas comming from the exhaust. Can someone give me a list of all the thing I need and the tools needed to do this job. If you have any other recommendation your help will be greatly appreciated....Ohh by the way part no will be great too....
Thanks
Thanks
basic hand tools, head on engine valve spring compresser, air compreser, dial caliper. little trick i have is to measure the distance from the top of the stud to the top of the nut with the depth rod on a dial caliper before i remove a rocker so all you have to do is replicate the measurement when you reinstall it

You will also need an adapter to screw into the spark plug hole to connect the compressed air to. Also, a good repair manual helps explain the whole job.
