Cylinder heads...

If I were to install 1.94 intake valves in a set of '84 L-69 heads, would they flow as good as a set of stock 350 heads of the same year ?? They would be installed on a 350 (NOT a 305)...Also, what size are the cumbustion chambers ??

T.L.,

Get the casting number from the rocker area (under the cover) and check it at Mortec.com. You should be able to get a chamber size there.

The heads probably don't flow as well as stock L98 heads, and the larger valves might help but the port sizes may be smaller. If you don't change the exhaust valves, it would hardly be worth the trouble. Stock castings can be ported to flow better, and can be deep-ported if you want to add some filler weld.

By the time you're done, you might have several hundred dollars in the heads, and you might be better off getting a used pair of L98 heads as a starting point, prep them, them perform the swap.
