Not Firing, Not Injecting Fuel- WTF Over
The car has no fire from the coil. All 4 wires on coil are hot with a test light. The injectors aren't spraying fuel. I've got an injector test light hooked up and it don't flash when turning over engine. I've tried a new coil(even though the old one tested good), I tried a used ECM from a junk yard. I've checked all fuses and fuseable links. The ECM shows no codes other than 12. I've looked for wires that might be lose for hours and found none.
The car was fine untill I changed the valve seals, and after that it won't start. The valve covers were off and I took the distribtor cap off to check for #1 & 6 TDC. I'm losing my mind over this now. What would cause the car to not fire and not to pulse the injectors? Please help, Bobby

Going out to check it now. I found a page shoeing how to test the pick up coil! let you know the outcome later. Thanks, Bobby

Tested the pick-up coil and it showed 824(normal resistance is 500-1500) between the white and green wires. I got no resistance between the white or green and the distributor body as a ground. So I'd have to say it is good, that puts the ECM, coil and pick-up coil good. Only thing left is the ing. module. Dimented24x7 you think the ing. module would cause the injectors not to fire too? Auto Zone says they can't check the module, so I guess I'll just have to spend the $23 to find out. I'll let ya know how it turns out in 2-3 hours. Thanks, Bobby
In general computer controlled vehicles will turn on the fuel pump for a second or two when the key is turned on to prime the fuel system and then shut off. Then the ECM will wait for distributor pulses before turning on the ignition and fuel pump / injectors on again. In addition, some cars have a crank-shaft position sensor that works similarly. I don't know that much about the spefics of your model though.
Sounds like the computer isn't aware your engine is turning over so it's cutting fuel and possibly spark. I support other's theories that the ignition module or pickup is at fault. Sounds like you've ruled out the pickup.
