cold starting/hesitation
After $300 worth of work to my 91 305 tbi camaro, it still not running all that great. After cleaning the TB and fuel lines, and a new o2 sensor, my problem has been isolated to right after I start the car. What happens is when I put it in gear, the idle goes way down as if the car is going to die, then jumps back up. When I accelerate, same story, it will hesitate for a second then run fine/ok. About 1 mile from home, there are no more problems. I'm in TX, so it's really not that cold. Can ya'll think of anything it could be?? All input would be appriciated.
FBod,
Even though your TPS is probably not adjustable, there is still a voltage specification that is must meet. Check the voltage of the sensor in the idle position. It should be below 1.0VDC. Slowly move the throttle while watching the meter to test for a "dead" spot in the TPS.
You should also check the IAT and CTS sensors for accuracy.
