EDELBROCK Performer Intakes With Stock TBI......OPINIONS WANTED

1992 Camaro RS convertible
305 TBI

Hi,

My car has a few mild modifications: Hypertech coil, thermomaster chip, hooker 3" cat back exhaust, etc. Just a few things along those lines.

I am considering installing a EDELBROCK performer manifold for TBI , '87 and up with EGR. Does anyone have this setup on THEIR 305 TBI?

Are there any issues with hood clearance?

Are there any real performance gains to be had by this intake with stock TBI?

Is installation pretty much straight forward?

Comments and opinions appreciated!!

Thanks,

Steve

I helped my friend build up his 91 Blazer... it has the 350 TBI and we put that intake in it. We also did headers, but the performance gain wasn't really all that much... I beleive it was still the stock height though.
