WTF: my car has unavailable engine?

i got a 91 GTA. according to this site, my car cannot have the 205hp 305 i thought it did? i think its a mistake on the website, but did they make any 230hp automatic 305's?

the cam specs as well as some other things changed through the years. Off the top of my head, they did make lb9's with that power output but de-tuned it a bit for the later model years.

do you have g92? if not, you only have a single cat, compared to dual which supposedly is 25 hp more

If you had a 305 TPI / Auto combo you got a smaller cam than the 305 TPI / 5spd cars did. The cam is commonly called the "Peanut Cam" cause it really sucks the life out of the car.

IIRC the peanut cam came in cars through 87, otherwise they all got the same in 305s

I've never heard of them not putting the peanut cam in a 305/auto combo with the exception of the 85 year.

I have a 91' GTA LB9/A4 and i have the same problem sometimes to with parts place not having a 305 TPI in their "sources".
