Mech carb...
Mech carb...
Well, I Swapped out the dead CC Qjet for a freshly rebuilt Qjet i had laying arounf from a 78 Vette. The Car Runs great, But The Shift points have Changed. When Im just driving Casually, the 1-2 Shift is Way High in RPM, and It is Really Abrupt, Neck Jerking Sorta Abrupt. The 2-3 Shift seems okay.
When Im at WOT or near WOT, the 1-2 Shift is Really Low, Really low, and it feels about normal.
For example, If Im doing a burnout with It in Drive, I start spinning the tires and let off the brake and Boom Boom Boom it shifts up to 3rd real fast, its weird.
Wich part of me removing the comp controlled carb Changed My shift points, and How can I change em back ?

Adjust your TV cable. It will change your shift points and is the only thing you could have changed to affect you shift points. That old carb may not have the correct linkage for the overdrive.
