Ignition System Questions...

I want to give my car a tune-up(dist. cap, rotor, wires, plugs, fuel filter, etc) What do you suggest. I know theres different kinds of everything and what will work on my car(87 Formula 350)?

Well, you can't go wrong with the stock GM stuff. I noticed you're selling the car. While it's fun to "improve" a car, most people like to buy a car they think is a virgin. If some buyer opens the hood and sees a bunch of aftermarket stuff, they may wonder what all has been done. Not many buyers know or appreciate the benefit of some aftermarket stuff...or trust the judgement of the installer.

However, if somebody opens the hood and sees a clean, "virgin" engine with new or recent GM stuff, then they will have a better sense of what they are fixing to buy. Buying/selling is psychology and appearances do matter.

I suggest AC plugs, I hear the rapid fires are great.
Wires, depending on money, MSD, or Accel, or a good cheap brand like Autolite.
Cap and Rotor, I like Accel, they're not much money, and have copper/brass terminals.
DONT forget to also replace the O2 sensor.
