Does my engine have to be warm to adjust the IAC properly.

Also I have an Air Foil would that cause any problems to the IAC, since it blocks the IAC plumbing?

Yes the engine needs to be at operating temp. The airfoil shouldnt affect the IAC's operation, but if you are unsure, just take it off while you set for min air. Be sure to disconnect your EST bypass when you adj the IAC...and then clear the trouble code. Good luck.....
