ign.. module?

i took mine to advanced and had them test it on their machine, it passed.

i'm running low on options/possible culprits. My question:

How much would you trust their machine? I mean it seems like the Ign module is the best-fitted piece to solve my puzzel, but it tests good? feedback appreciated.

Knowing the code your computer stored may have helped. Have you checked all the fuses? There is one in the engine bay, probably near your coolant overflow tank, that may cause such a problem. Other than that I would suspect a connection problem somewhere.

If their tester says it failed, it is bad. If it says it passed it could still be bad. See what I'm getting at?

they sometimes fail randomly and not totally, in other words they work and then they don't. when they will fail hot and after they cool work again. best to heat it up wit ha hot air gun or hair dryer and then test it, but if it's a random problem you still may not make it fail. i've been there before where i "knew" logically a part was bad but i couldn't prove it or if i took the time to look at it i was ahead to just replace it

ok i will look for that fuse in the engine bay.

Ede - it never had a problem starting hot, just one day bam, crapped on me while I was driving down my driveway.

I will just go out n buy a new one - simple as that.
