Turn signal problem...

when i turn my turn signal on for a right turn the lights all light up but dont blink, my left turn signals work fine, i've verified all the bulbs are working and both sides are using the same exact bulbs.. they all work fine with the hazard lights on.. the only thing i can think of is the flasher unit it self, but wouldnt both sides be effected? any ideas?

The flasher unit is really cheap so go and get one and try. I use one from a chevy van.

It sounds like a burnt bulb to me. If the flashers work fine on one side, then the flasher unit is OK. The hazards use a seperate flasher.

see the thing is, i've replaced all the bulbs, matched the bulbs and made sure im using all the correct bulbs on both sides of the car, the only thing that i can think of is I wired in an older style front flasher fixture in on the other side because my old one was broken in an accident, the wiring appeared identical as did the bulbs it used, I simply had to modify it slightly to fit into my turn signal fixture, now that side works perfectly, but the other side that was not damaged does not. Do I need to get a build fixture for the correct year? is that my problem? would it disable the other side from working properly even with all the bulbs matched?
