Is there a difference between 5.7 heads and truck heads?
I don't have the casting no's of the truck heads in front of me, but I'm wondering if there's any difference between iron L98 heads and regular TBI, truck, or stock replacement crate engine heads. Are L98 iron heads anything special? Would they be an upgrade?

TBI truck heads usually have swirl-port intake passages, to induce a swirled air/fuel mixture into the combustion chamber to create torque. But some say it doesnt work and the iron L98 heads are better. I used these heads in my first 350 and got 225 HP and 335 TQ.
