in need of engine combinations for an 86 305 tpi. i want to still keep my tpi setup and not spend obsurd amounts of money. please be specific on specifications. im looking for around 350 horse and higher torque. Any suggestions would be appriciated.

Heres what i already have:
305 tpi
hypertech chip
adj fuel pressure reg
accel cap, rotor and coil
taylor wires
3 inch exhaust w/o cat
flowmaster crossflow muffler

i saved this address from a while back. http://www.ryanscarpage.50megs.com/combos1.html. has a lot of combos. some you can get some serious power out of. let me be the first to tell you that a lot of people are going to tell you to ditch the 305 and get a 350. if you go that route sdpc2000.com has a good 350 tpi engine that you can drop in. i think it is 330 horses or something like that. i dont deal with fuel injection so a lot of other peole can give you better advice than i can. form what i have read, to convert your tpi to a 350 you need bigger 22 lbs/hour injectors and the computer off of a 350 car.

it has 360 horses and 416 torque. im sure that with some porting on the tpi and other little things it wont be that hard to make the kind of power that you are looking for.
