SLP headers w/angle plug heads (again!)

I know this has been asked and I have done searches, but the info I found did not seem definitive. I am looking at some Pro Topline iron heads with angle plug hole locations and want to use the SLP 1 3/4" headers. Can this combo be made work by using short plugs and/or any other tricks? Or is it one of those things that simply cannot be done? I am also curious about standard angle vs L98 angles, from what I found the L98 angle plug heads work with the SLP's but standard angles are questionable - I presume the Pro Topline heads are standard angle but I'm not sure. Thanks in advance for any help.

I'm sure you can get them to work. You'll basically have to shop around for the parts. Shroter plugs will do the trick and also certain plug wires will be able to fit but it will be close. Sorry, not sure on which plug wires but I do know there are people on this board that have a similar setup to what your wanting to do.

Good luck.

I doubt they will work. My Brodix Track 1 heads are standard SBC angle plug heads and they were NOT going to work with my SLPs (1.75"). I even made the mistake of trying to "clearance" them a little... Nothing but a giant waste of money as the driver side header of my SLPs is now very ugly and very not worth much money anymore .

My old Trick Flow 23* heads were L98 angle plug heads and they worked fine.
