How to ID a 305 vs a 350
Hi, sorry for what is probably a very basic question to some of you . . . How can you spot a 305 vs a 350? I recently bought an 86 camaro that originally had a 2.8l V6, now it has a V8 that runs really well and looks very new. Thing is I have no idea if its a 5.0l or a 5.7. Seems to me if I were swapping from a V6 to a V8, I'd go with a 350 . . .
Engine is in the car now, and I want to determine exactly what it is before I decide what to do (may swap into my Malibu or my Firebird) - so I need a method that can be used while its in the car, with all the crap hangin' on it.
I did search on the internet, and on this site, but haven't found what I'm looking for, so if this has been answered recently, please forgive me.
Thanks for your help.
