Horsepower from 350
Hey everyone I was just wondering what kinda Horsepower a stock 350 would put out ? I am going to have a 350 built for me and I just wondered what a stock 350 would put out so I can get an idea of how big I would like to go. Also what would you folks reccomend for a daily driven street machine in the middle of Iowa and yes the car is driven in the snow sometimes depending on snow amount. So I wanna car with some ***** but yet remember its driven daily.
So what does a stock 350 put out for horsepower, and what would you reccomend for me and my daily driven car - as in what horsepower range would be reasonable -
Thx.

hmm stock power depends on what your core is from but 200ish can be the norm... as for power id say get a ride in the snow and go full bore... or just go for 300 or 325..itll be a big step up from what you are rollin with and itll lay some rubber when need be.

The crate 350 that I bought was sitting at around 230, the guys that I bought it from claimed that with headers it would put out 260. I would buy a short block, put some good heads with a good manifold on it and hope for 300. Even more if you do the cam.
