What is the cam specs on a 92 L98 cam?

Does anyone know the cam specs on the stock 92 L98 cam in the camaros?

I was wanting to know what kind of lift and duration it has. Also what are the stock springs rated for?

thanks.

92 L98:
Lift: .413 / .428
Duration: 202/207
114.5 * Lobe Separation

I imagine the springs could probably handle close to a .500 lift cam unless they're really weak....

Yeah, that is a VERY small cam. But then that motor only puts out like 245 hp stock, which isn't a heck of a lot for a 350.

and given how old they are... they are really weak.

upgrade the springs if you upgrade the cam... cheap insurance.......

yeah, I ran across a guy that will replace the studs with screw in type. he will also replace the springs form. I figure it would be safer.

What would be the max lift with 1.250 springs with out machining the head? I heard something about the retainers or something hitting or binding if I have too much lift and didnt maching the heads?

Stock springs are only good till .450 lift. Anything bigger and you'll experience coil bind (I did anyways).
